Lim, Chito Maravilla, Esmie Gayo McLaren, JA Tan, and Broderick Wong. This year commemorates the 75th Anniversary of Philippines—Canada relations through culture and the arts.

Summer Breeze · Maizal · Main Street, Vancouver, Canada
An art and poetry exhibition on the theme summer days and simple joys, Summer Breeze was Maizal’s feature presentation for Carfree Day on Main Street and Mural Fest.


“A Heart’s Choice” · The Window Gallery, Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre, Vancouver, Canada
“A Heart’s Choice”, a 10 foot long diptych (2 parts), was Paulina’s personal take on the Cherokee Tale of Two Wolves and a fitting way to greet the year of the dog.


Roadside Markets / Obcestne stojnice · 49th International Meeting of Naïve Artists, Trebnje Gallery, Slovenia
It was a great honor to be invited and sponsored by the Trebnje Gallery for the 49th International Meeting of Naïve Artists. Paulina was delighted to show her art, exchange ideas with fellow invited artists and art patrons and also engage with local visitors at the gallery.


Moments of Motherhood / 母性のとき · Design Festa Gallery, Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo was stop number 2 of the 6 cities visited by the Moments of Motherhood (MOM) traveling show. Harajuku was a great choice for a venue with the multitude of local and foreign visitors passing through the district daily. Paulina had the chance to share her insights and stories on motherhood and beyond with the acquaintances she made during her time there.
