Join us for an inspiring session that proves every thread, no matter how small, can play a part in creating something beautiful. Let your leftover threads, yarns, fabric strips, and other textiles shine as we connect in a creative celebration of reuse and artistic expression!
Inspired by the concentric forms and themes of interconnectedness in Samuel Nnorom’s work—currently on exhibit @textilemuseumofcanada —this hands-on workshop explores the art of repurposing through thoughtful design and creative play.
Using ORTs (Old Raggedy Threads), yarns, cloth strips, and thrifted materials, participants will transform leftover textiles into stunning mixed-media creations, mounted on an 8×8” stretched canvas. Discover how materials set aside for future use can take on new life, inspiring both creativity and connection.
