Inner Landscapes: Stitching Identity Through Textiles at Cloverdale Common @artsetobicoke
By Paulina Constancia – One of the artists featured in Intersections (Event page)
In this hands-on textile workshop, participants will use fabric scraps, threads, and stitching techniques to create a personal landscape that reflects their inner feelings, sentiments, and nostalgia for home. Guided by one of INTERSECTIONS featured artists – multidisciplinary artist Paulina Constancia, who uses fabric to connect with her cultural roots- participants will dive into a creative process that weaves together memory, tradition, and identity. Through layers of fabric and stitches, we’ll ponder on how the textures of our lives sh
ape our sense of self, home, and belonging.
